The 5 for hygiene really shows here. The place is absolutely spotless! We had the sit down gluten free option on a very busy Tuesday here. Because of the number of people in the place you do expect it to be a bit of a wait before your order is taken but we weren't waiting too long. The girl who took our order was friendly, chatty and had a big smile so instantly impressed with the customer service. I had a gluten free cod with cheesy chips. I've found that most places usually just coat the fish in flour for gluten free but this spot had proper cruncy tasty batter. The cheesy chips had a lovely crumbly mature cheddar scattered over them, none of that cheap stuff so definitely good value there.
I will definitely return because the place was clean, the staff were friendly, the food was gorgeous and the price was nice too.
